DEYOVAISIO Zeefuik admitted he was "very happy" to conclude a transfer to Hertha Berlin.
The Dutchman was this week linked with a move to Saints as he entered the final year of his contract at FC Groningen.
But he has opted for a switch to Bundesliga for a fee of around £3.6million, as reported by Kicker.
"Hertha BSC demonstrated a clear plan in my talks with the club and showed a lot of interest," Zeefuik told the club website.
"This club’s ambition corresponds to my own, so I’m very happy to be coming to Berlin."
