MANOLO Gabbiadini scored his second goal in four games for Sampdoria against an Inter Milan side without Cedric Soares.
Gabbiadini, who scored once in his last 15 Saints appearances, netted within four minutes of coming off the bench in a 4-0 win against Udinese last month.
And he made another instant impact at the San Siro on Sunday, pouncing on a loose ball and finding the bottom corner with his first two touches match against third-placed Inter.
A 75th-minute substitute, his goal came within two minutes of Danilo D’Ambrosio’s opener for the home side.
But three minutes after Gabbiadini’s equaliser, Radja Nainggolan restored Inter’s lead with what proved to be the winner.
Saints loanee Cedric was left on the bench, having made one start in and three substitute appearances in Inter’s previous four matches.
Gabbiadini is enjoying his best run since scoring six in his first four games for Saints.
