THE Ageas Bowl has added extra seating in preparation for England’s Royal London One-Day International against Pakistan next May due to overwhelming demand.

The home of Hampshire Cricket will host the second fixture of the five-match 50-over series on Saturday, May 11.

The early demand for tickets follows hot on the heels of August’s hotly-contested Test Match between England and India at the Ageas Bowl.

David Mann, the Ageas Bowl’s chief executive officer, said: “We saw a fantastic Test Match this year and demand for the ODI between England and Pakistan next May has been stronger than ever.

“This additional seating will help us to cope with that demand and give more fans the opportunity to enjoy international cricket at the Ageas Bowl.”

Priced from £60 for adults and £15 for under-17s, the newly-available tickets are expected to be snapped up quickly as Eoin Morgan’s men look to retain their place as the number one ODI-ranked side heading into the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup on home soil.

Tickets, as well as hospitality packages, can be purchased online via www.eticketing.co.uk/ageasbowl, over the phone on 0844 847 1863 or in person from the Ageas Bowl ticketing and membership office during normal working hours.

Situated an hour or less away from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Reading, the Ageas Bowl is easily accessible for anyone living in the south of England.

It has excellent transport links from all major stations in the area, as well as a park and ride scheme.
