The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

STEVEN ROBINSON, 43, of Millais Road, Southampton admitted to theft from a shop after £14.50 worth of Nescafe coffee was stolen from Co-Op. Robison was ordered to pay £14.50 compensation, a £40 fine, £85 court costs and a £16 surcharge. 

CAMERON MORPHEY, 24, of Luck Road, Bursledon admitted to drink driving on Bridge Road, Swanwick in a Volkswagen Polo. He was caught with 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Morphey was banned from driving for 17 months with a £649 fine. He must pay £85 court costs and a £260 surcharge. 

MICHAEL KIPLING, 36, of Kingston Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to harassment in breach of a restraining order in that he attended an address on St Johns Road, Eastleigh. He was jailed for four months.

DWAIN WARD, 40, of Howards Grove, Southampton admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class C and causing criminal damage to a fire exit door at Asda in Chandler's Ford. He also pleaded guilty to theft from a shop relating to £400 worth of alcoholic spirits he stole from the same shop.  Ward was fined £120 and must pay £150 compensation. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs. 

ANDREW BOTTING, 45, of St James Close, Southampton admitted to causing criminal damage to a fire exit door at Asda in Chandler's Ford. He also pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he stole £400 worth of alcoholic spirits from the same store. He was fined £120 and must pay £150 compensation. 

REECE CLARKE, 20, of Roewood Road, Holbury pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker in Southampton and obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty. Clarke received an 18-month conditional discharge and must pay £50 compensation. He was also ordered to pay £28 court costs and a £26 surcharge.
