A coat was stolen after two men in balaclavas threatened and targeted teenagers in Eastleigh.

The first victim was approached by the men in Cranbury Road, where an attempt was made by them to steal his bag, police have said.

The men are said to have grabbed hold of the straps but were unsuccessful.

Ten minutes later, the same men allegedly verbally threatened another boy before stealing his coat.

Neither victim suffered any injuries during these incidents on March 26.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The first man is described as black, approximately 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, wearing a balaclava and an all-black tracksuit, and aged approximately 18 to 19 years.

The second man is described as black, around 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, wearing a balaclava and an all-grey tracksuit and aged approximately 18 to 19 years.

One of the men also had a hood up and was wearing glasses.

A spokesperson from the force said: “If you were in either area at the time of these incidents, witnessed anything suspicious, or have any photos or video footage, including CCTV, doorbell camera, dash cam or mobile phone, please call 101 and quote the corresponding incident numbers.

“The first incident is 44240128980 while the second is 44240128649.
