Several sailings to and from the Isle of Wight have been cancelled as strong winds batter the coast.
Ferry operators Red Funnel and Wightlink announced the various cancellations this morning.
Wind gusts of up to 46mph are sweeping into Southampton and the Solent and are expected to last throughout the morning.
The full list of cancellations:
Red Funnel Red Jet cancellations
- 6:05, 07:15, and 08:25 from Southampton
- 06:40, 07:50 and 09:00 from West Cowes
- Hovertravel: Suspended
Further afield in Lymington, Wightlink has cancelled services due to the high winds and a mechanical issue with a Wight Class vessels.
