A MAN has been arrested after a driver was spotted naked in a car.

Police confirmed the arrest after they were called to the incident between 7.15pm and 7.40pm on Sunday.

Officers were called to Summerlands Road, Fair Oak, following the incident near a shop.

A 63-year-old man, from Fair Oak, has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.

The man has since been released and police enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called on Sunday night (May 22) to reports of an indecent exposure incident between 7.15pm and 7.40pm that evening on Summerlands Road in Fair Oak.

"A 63-year-old man, from Fair Oak, has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.

"He has been released under investigation and our enquiries are ongoing."
