A HAMPSHIRE theme park is set to be transformed into a "Christmas Wonderland" this December.
From this Saturday, Paultons Park's Celebration of Christmas event will see "magical illuminations" set up across the site, with visitors having the opportunity to meet Peppa Pig and George in their seasonal outfits.
Running until December 23, the event will see the park's newest attraction, Tornado Springs, get a Christmas makeover as well as festive music being played, a lightshow at the gateway building and a giant musical Christmas Tree.
Additionally, Santa’s Special Christmas Show featuring Father Christmas will run twice a day with additional performances from Frosty in his ‘Snowtime Show’.
James Mancey, Operations Director at Paultons Park said: “We know families are hoping for a particularly magical Christmas after so many missed out on last year’s celebrations. We’ve packed this year’s event with multiple festive experiences, to immerse our guests in a wonderful world of Christmas charm.
“Our guests tell us that year after year, our Christmas events are where they come to celebrate together ahead of the big day.
"That’s why we work hard to transform the park for the festive season, bringing together well-loved family favourites with sparkling new ideas.”
In addition to the activities taking place, guests will be able to choose from a selection of festive treats from several of the park’s food and drink outlets.
