PLANS to modify a Hampshire bungalow have been given the go-ahead - despite an objection lodged by a neighbour.
The application, which comprised roof alterations to a property at Calmore Road, Totton, and a single-storey rear extension, has been approved by New Forest District Council.
A householder living at neighbouring Sedgefield Close had objected to the proposal, saying it would affect his privacy.
A report to councillors said: "The application site consists of a detached hip-roofed bungalow in an area characterised by similar properties.
"There would be no increase in the height of the roof.
"Overall the proposed development would be sympathetic to the existing property and have an acceptable impact on neighbour amenity."
