A MOTORIST was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a two-car crash.

Police say the accident happened at Lepe Road, Langley, near Blackfield, just before 6.30pm yesterday.

Both vehicles were badly damaged in the collision but no-one was seriously hurt.

Hants Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "Its been a busy evening for the Western team - just finishing dealing with this RTI in Langley in the New Forest.

"One driver detained for providing a positive breath sample. Thankfully no serious injuries."

A Hampshire police spokesperson added: "We were called at 6.22pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Lepe Road, Langley.
"The collision was between a Suzuki Swift and a Saab Linear. Minor injuries were reported."
The spokesperson said the Saab driver, a 61-year-old woman from Langley, had been charged with drink-driving.
She is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on April 1.
