PLANS have been unveiled to build six affordable homes in the New Forest National Park.

Planning officers employed by the Lymington-based National Park Authority (NPA) are studying an outline application relating to Great Fletchwood Farm House in Fletchwood Lane, Totton.

The application includes a proposal to demolish agricultural buildings on the site.

NPA chiefs will obtain the views of the local parish council before deciding if members of the authority should be recommended to approve or reject the application.

People living near Great Fletchwood Farm House will also be given a chance to comment on the proposals.

If the application is approved a more detailed set of plans will also have to be given the nod before work can start.
