PROPOSALS to enlarge a house have been withdrawn by the applicant after objections by neighbours.
New Forest District Council is no longer studying plans to extend a property at Cedar Road, Everton.
Hordle Parish Council had urged the authority to reject the application.
In a letter to the authority it said: "The proposed extension is very large, out of keeping and would have a negative impact on the street scene.
"There are concerns that the proposal extends to the the boundary and would negatively impact on neighbours."
One of the locals who objected added: "I object to this very large application in relation to the size of the property.
"It would also have a completely negative impact on the pleasant
street scene."
