Offering a variety of meals including a full menu from Friday to Sunday the pub are making a real difference to the community.

The Thomas Lord, West Meon, GU32

Named after the founder of Lords Cricket Ground the delightful Thomas Lord is still open for takeaway orders on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's.

On Sunday's they have a range of snacks, starters and mains as well as the traditional Sunday roasts - the menus are updated on Facebook weekly. 

Last week they served vegetable wellington, rib of beef or pork belly with a yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings - including their beloved cauliflower cheese.

Prices start at £11 for a main roast dinner. 

Fresh Roast Pots, Portsmouth, PO2

Fresh Roast Pots in Portsmouth is described as the ideal place for to get fresh breakfast pots, roast pots and carvery baguettes - a welcome alternative to the traditional roast dinner. 

You can choose from lamb, beef, chicken, gammon, pork, turkey, or a mixed meat for between £5.40 and £5.90. There is also a vegetarian, vegan and nut roast pot, all for £5,40. Yorkshire puds are an optional side, with two for £1.90 and four for £3.40.

This family-run gastropub is among the Hampshire businesses able to diversify over lockdown and offer tasty home-cooked takeaway meals. 

Delivering the full pub experience to your home through their new businesses the Pub Delivery Co you can order a range of food and drinks to your door. 

They offer a full menu as well as Sunday Roasts served between midday and 6pm on a Sunday. 

There are a range of roasts to choose from including rare topside of beef, tenderloin of pork and a quinoa and vegetable nut roast with all the trimmings for £16.

The London Tavern, Ringwood

The London Tavern are bringing you 'The Tav at yours' offering a wide range of delicious home-cooked meals for delivery or collection. 

Their Sunday Roasts come with all the trimmings and you can choose from a topside of Dexter beef, Manor Farm loin of pork or a vegan nut roast for £12.50.

The Jolly Farmer, Cliddesden, RG25

This quintessentially British pub in Cliddesden near Basingstoke are also offering a range of tasty treats for residents to collect, including their famous Sunday roast at an fantastic price. 

Roasts start at £9.50 and include a roast loin of pork, half a roast chicken, sirloin of beef and a vegan steak with all the trimming. 

Lunch is served from 12-4pm and pre-orders must be in by Friday evening.

The Brickmakers, Swanmore, SO32 2PA

If you don't fancy a roast dinner but still want to support local then why not order from The Brickmakers.

The absolutely terrific village pub in Swanmore is continuing to serve homemade meals using fresh free-range produce and they even make their own sausages! 

Serving a varied menu with a range of specials that are updated weekly there's really something to please the whole family. 

Meals are priced between £5 and £16 all of which are available on Friday's and Saturday's.  

Luckily for us they are bringing back their scrumptious roasts later in the year for Mothering Sunday and Easter Sunday.
