FIREFIGHTERS battling a shed blaze managed to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings.
Crews from four fire stations - Eastleigh, Redbridge, St Mary's and Totton - were called to Testwood Crescent, Totton, just after 10.30pm yesterday.
Hants Fire Control tweeted: "Major spread was prevented to nearby buildings."
In a separate incident crews from Beaulieu and Hardley fire stations were called to a fire in a pole-mounted transformer in Long Lane Close, Holbury, where a cable had fallen into the road.
Crews made the scene safe before handing over to electrical engineers.
