FOUR ponies have been killed in a collision with a Land Rover Discovery in the New Forest.
The accident happened last night at Roger Penny Way and comes just three weeks after three donkeys were killed on the same road.
As reported in the Daily Echo two sheep were killed at Roger Penny Way on December 28.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident but are urging drivers to reduce their speed when driving through the Forest.
In a statement police said: "Animals are on the Forest roads licking the salt that has been freshly laid. Please take extreme care to avoid any further incidents."
