ALMOST 1,500 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed across Hampshire in the past 24-hours.
Latest data on the government website shows a total of 1,478 people tested positive for the coronavirus across the county up to 3.45pm on Saturday, December 26.
Here are the latest figures by area:
· Basingstoke and Deane: 98 (3,422 in total since start of pandemic)
· East Hampshire: 87 (2,185)
· Eastleigh: 103 (2,182)
· Fareham: 91 (2,066)
· Gosport: 33 (1,555)
· Hart: 74 (1,588)
· Havant: 131 (3,064)
· New Forest: 75 (2,442)
· Portsmouth: 235 (6,556)
· Rushmoor: 137 (2,659)
· Southampton: 256 (5,449)
· Test Valley: 54 (2,016)
· Winchester: 104 (2,324)
The Government said that, as of 9am on Saturday, there had been a further 34,693 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.
It brings the total number of cases in the UK to 2,256,005.
Latest NHS England data showed a further seven people have died with Covid-19 across Hampshire.
