MAGISTRATES have banned a driver who speeded in the temporary zone of the M27.
Matthew Dickinson, 34, was recorded driving an H-reg Mercedes at 61mph in the 50-zone of the M27 westbound between junction 5-4 on June 6.
The temporary limit is in place whilst the Smart Motorway is being built.
Dickinson, of Galsworthy Road, Totton, was not present in court and was found guilty under the single justice procedure.
The magistrates in Basingstoke banned him for six months because of repeat offending and fined him £200 with an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
