A FURTHER 182 positive coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire.

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website as of 4pm today (November 24)- show that 182 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

This brings the county's total to 24,295 cases since the start of the pandemic.

The figures come as testing increases across the country.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.

  • Basingstoke and Deane: 6 (2,265 cases since the start of pandemic)
  • East Hampshire 11 (1,424)
  • Eastleigh: 16 (1,591)
  • Fareham: 17 (1,292)
  • Gosport: 13 (939)
  • Hart: 7 (916)
  • Havant: 14 (1,624)
  • New Forest: 8 (1,771)
  • Portsmouth: 32 (4,140)
  • Rushmoor: 6 (1,491)
  • Southampton: 29 (3,765)
  • Test Valley: 9 (1,440)
  • Winchester: 14 (1,637)
