FIVE more coronavirus deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in the last 24 hours. 

Data released by NHS England at 2pm today (November 24) shows that two more people with coronavirus have died in county hospitals.

Two deaths were recorded at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, bringing the total death toll up to 227.

Another two deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, bridging the Trust's death toll up to 272.

One death was recorded at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - bringing the death toll up to 201.

No other deaths were recorded across the county's other Trusts.

There have been at total of three deaths at Solent NHS Trust and 18 recorded deaths at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Across the county, there has been a total of 721 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
