PLANS to open a hydrotherapy centre for dogs have been rejected.
New Forest District Council (NFDC) has refused to support an application relating to one of the units at the newly-built Glenmore Business Park off Lime Kiln Lane in Holbury.
Fawley Parish Council had urged NFDC to approve the application.
But a report to NFDC members said: "The proposal would result in the loss of a brand new unit to a non-employment use. No evidence has been submitted to demonstrate that the site is not suitable for employment use.
"Therefore the proposal would result in the unjustified and economically harmful loss of a a valuable employment use, contrary to policy."
