PLANS to enlarge a house in the New Forest National Park have been withdrawn by the applicant.
The Lymington-based National Park Authority (NPA) is no longer studying a proposal to build a single-storey extension to the back of Larks Holme at Roys Copse in Dibden.
Hythe and Dibden Parish Council had urged the NPA to approve the application.
The proposal was also supported by a couple living near Larks Holme.
In a letter to the NPA they said: "We have no objections to this extension going ahead as it would not impact on us and we feel it would enhance the property."
No reason for the decision to withdraw the application has been given.
