TWO students at a Southampton school have tested positive for coronavirus.
Bitterne Park School's headteacher Steward Roderick has today announced via letter that a Year 10 and Year 11 student have tested positive for coronavirus.
A number of students from both Years have been identified as those needed to self-isolate fr 14 days.
A "small" number of staff have also been affected.

The school is "continuing to monitor" the situation and will remain open.
Mr Roderick said in his letter: "Today, we have been made aware of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 for a student in Year 10 and another in Year 11.
"Having spent the day liaising with the DFE and Public Health England we have identified a number of students in Year 10 and Year 11 that need to self-isolate.
"We know that you may find this concerning, but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England. This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child.
"Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
"A small number of children who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have received a letter informing them that they must stay at home for 14 days to self-isolate.
"This has also affected a small number of staff.
"The school remains open and your child should continue to attend as normal if they remain well."
