A FURTHER 144 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in Hampshire in the past 24 hours - taking the total to more than 10,000.
Government figures just released reveal 24 new cases in Southampton, taking the total so far to 1,492.
Other parts of the county have also seen new cases including the Test Valley (13), Winchester (14) and the New Forest (17).
Eastleigh has seen 11 new cases, while Fareham and Gosport have recorded nine and two respectively.
A total of 338 new cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the weekend, taking the overall figure for the county to 10,111.
Across the UK, a further 16,982 cases were confirmed today, bringing the total to 722,409.
The latest figures for south and south-west Hampshire are: Fareham (479), Gosport (328), New Forest (827), Southampton (1,492), Test Valley (818), Winchester (770) and Eastleigh (660).
