PLANS to enlarge a bungalow have been given the go-ahead - despite objections from neighbours.
New Forest District Council has approved an application to build an extension to the back of a property at Calmore Road, Calmore.
A report to members the application had resulted in two objections.
But it said the proposed development would have an acceptable impact on neighbours and the street scene.
The report added: "Many premises have benefited from extensions and alterations and the proposed single-storey extension would not be an intrusive form of development and would not detract from the appearance of the dwelling or the character of the area."
The application was granted, subject to conditions.
