THE emergency services are dealing with a multi-vehicle accident in Lymington.
Reports on social media claim seven vehicles collided in the incident at the junction of Undershore Road and Bridge Road.
But police say only three vehicles were involved.
Bridge Road is reported to be "totally blocked" following the crash and the arrival of the emergency services.
Congestion caused by the incident is said to be causing chaos on surrounding roads, including Marsh Lane.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 11.16am to a report of a collision on Bridge Road involving three vehicles. No serious injuries have been reported."
Bridge Road - a former toll route - is one of the main roads in and out of Lymington.
One end of the street is dominated by the luxury Lymington Shores housing scheme, which replaced the old Webbs chicken factory.
The Wightlink ferry terminal used by vessels operating the Lymington-Yarmouth route is also nearby.
