A MOTORIST drove his Mini at more than 70 miles an hour through the smart motorway roadworks on the M27.
Driver Reuben-Hoon Winter was clocked at 71 miles an hour eastbound through the temporary 50 miles an hour limit between junctions nine and ten at Fareham.
The 22-year-old, of Langdown Lawn Close, Hythe, New Forest, was fined £200 after admitting speeding when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court.
He was also ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and given four penalty points.
