A CYCLIST has been left with serious injuries after crashing with a car.

The cyclist was rushed to hospital after suffered serious injuries including a cut to the knee.

It followed an incident on the B3054 in Beaulieu at around 4.30pm on Wednesday involving the cyclist and a car.

Police have now launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to help them.

A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries into how the accident occurred are ongoing, but we’re also turning to the public for help.
