POLICE rushed to a quiet country lane near Totton today after reports of a disturbance.
Officers converged on a property at Pauletts Lane, Calmore, just before 12.30pm and arrested a youth on suspicion of assault.
One motorist took to social media after witnessing the police activity.
She posted: "Lots of police cars and I was told to turn around quickly."
A Hampshire police spokesperson added: "We were called at 12.25pm today to reports of a disturbance at an address on Pauletts Lane, Calmore.
"A 19-year-old man from Blackfield has been arrested on suspicion of common assault.
"He remains in custody at this time."
