AN ARREST has been made following a hunt for a man see performing a sex act on a park bench.
On July 13, a man was seen performing a sex act while sat on a park bench in Totton War Memorial Park at around 6pm.
It was reported that the man was watching a yoga class that was taking place just meters away.
Police launched a hunt to find the man and yesterday officers investigating the incident arrested a man, who remains in police custody.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson from Totton Police said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal, and assisted us with our enquiries in relation the the male seen masturbating in Totton.
"The team have been reviewing CCTV and speaking to witnesses, and are now in a position to update you.
"A male has been arrested today by our team, following our enquiries, and is currently in custody.
"We will keep you updated with the outcome when we are able to."
