PLANS to turn a former cowshed into a three-bedroom home have been unveiled.
The Cadland Estate is asking the New Forest National Park Authority to approve an application relating to Fields Farm at Badminston Lane, Fawley.
The application says the brick cowshed is attached to a Grade II-listed barn.
It adds: "The building is no longer suitable for agricultural use but given the listed status a beneficial use has to be found for it.
"The proposal is to safeguard the future of the cowshed by providing a three-bedroom dwelling. The adjacent timber barn will continue to be used for limited agricultural storage.
"The intention is to ensure the restored and converted building will essentially retain its current outward appearance and does not appear "over-domesticated".
"The materials to be used externally will match those of the existing building."
