POLICE have confirmed today that a body has been found at a Hampshire park.
Officers were called yesterday morning at Fleming Park on Passfield Avenue in Eastleigh, and have today confirmed that a body was discovered.
The body of a man in his 50s was found in a wooded area of the park.
Police have confirmed that they are not treating the death as suspicious and the man's next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "We were called at 6.30am on 2 June following the discovery of a body of man in his 50s in woodland at Fleming Park, Eastleigh.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"The man’s next of kin have been informed."
