We are now into our second week of this horrible virus and the devastating effect it has on life as we know it.

The media has reported some horrendous behaviour and inspiring behaviour.

Sad stories of families bereaved but we still have behaviour abhorrent to the decent feeling community.

We hear of the police being spat at.

I do not think anyone would object to new emergency powers to deal with this. Think off the consequences of this foul behaviour.

If the offender carries the virus this could escalate an increase in the percentage of cases and extending suffering.

I am fully behind the police but I think there could be more understanding of the need for families to see each other at a distance.

Believe it or not some people do not have the internet and would love to see their family and wave at them from the window.

As one friend said to me her nana is so worried her great grandson will not recognise her in future, sad times.
