A FIRE which broke out in a car park on the Hampshire coastline is being treated as arson.
The blaze caused a small amount of damage to a seafront parking area at Lepe Country Park just after 5.30pm yesterday.
In a tweet Waterside Police urged anyone with information about the fire to come forward.
Hardley Fire Station added: "An eagle-eyed member of the public spotted a fire in the open in the lower car park at Lepe. One hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera used to ensure fire completely extinguished."
Anyone who knows who started the blaze can contact Hampshire police on 101.
