SOUTHAMPTON'S Chinese New Year celebrations are underway in Guildhall Square today.
January 25 marks the start of the Year of the Rat, and this weekend residents can enjoy dancing, a parade, and Chinese food.
Tomorrow (Sunday, January 26), there will be entertainment including calligraphy and lantern-making.
