A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent after an incident in a Hampshire village.
Martin Williamson, 45, of Brockenhurst, is in police custody.
Two months ago police said they wanted to speak to Williamson following a serious assault which left a man fighting for his life.
At the time officers said Williamson was wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Lymington.
Police were called to Lower Buckland Road shortly after 3.30am on October 31.
A 30-year-old man from Milford-on-Sea, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 42-year-old man from Lymington was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was later bailed.
