A SOUTHAMPTON man caught driving at almost 100mph on a Hampshire motorway has been hit with a £300 court bill.
Abdulaziz Mahamed, 27, was caught driving his BMW at 97mph on the M3 near Fleet Services.
The incident happened on January 8.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Mahamed, of Derby Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to speeding.
He was fined £100, ordered to pay court costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £30.
His driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
