A MAN who twice assaulted a woman and drove while disqualified has been jailed.
David Kennith Bruin, 38, assaulted the woman on May 9 and May 10.
He also drove while disqualified and failed to provide a breath test on May 10
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Bruin was found guilty of one count of assault.
He pleaded guilty to a second count of assault, as well as one count of driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, taking a vehicle without consent and failing to provide breath test.
Bruin, who is currently a serving prisoner at HMP Winchester, was jailed for 24 weeks – which will run consecutively to his current sentence – and banned from driving for 84 days.
