SMOKED & Uncut is returning to the New Forest next summer following the success of previous events.

One of the food and music festivals will take place at The Pig hotel in Brockenhurst on June 20 and the other will be staged at Lime Wood, near Lyndhurst, on July 25.

A Smoked and Uncut spokesman said: "The headliners are yet to be confirmed but we think there’s every reason to get excited about the line-up.

"This year the artists performing included Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Sister Sledge and The Wailers and we aim to secure bands of a similar magnitude.

Daily Echo:

"In addition there will be an array of other fantastic live bands and solo artists performing throughout each day."

DJ Harriet Rose will be entertaining the crowds at both events, plus a similar celebration being held at The Pig near Bath on July 11.

Harriet spends her summers DJing backstage at Glastonbury after other major festivals.

She has supported artists such as Gorgon City, Neiked and Southampton's Craig David as well as appearing at various celebrity and charity events including London Fashion Week.

The spokesman added: "Smoked & Uncut wouldn’t be anything without its mouth-watering food offering and endless supply of drinks.

"Once again chef Angela Hartnett will return with her pop-up field kitchen, with seasonal Italian food on offer.

"For those after something more exotic, Mark Hix’s Biryani House will be at all three festivals with home-cooked curries on the menu, plus bhajis, naans and other Indian-inspired veg dishes all washed down with Hop House 13 Lager or lashings of Pig Hut rose.

"In addition to the feasting tents there will be crab shacks, BBQs and very tasty vegan and vegetarian options."
