A NEW Forest man who breached a restraining order twice in 10 days has been jailed.
Peter Michael Maguire was banned from contacting his victim due to a restraining order imposed by Southampton Magistrates' Court in August.
But the 52-year-old attended his victim's house and met with her on September 12 and again on September 22.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Maguire, of Bays Court, Pennington, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a restraining order.
He was sentenced to eight months in prison by magistrates, due to his "lengthy offending history" and the short amount of time between the breaches and the order being imposed.
Maguire will also have to pay a victim surcharge of £149.
