A SOUTHAMPTON man has been arrested following a break-in at a convenience store.
Just before 5am yesterday officers were called to reports of a burglary at the Tesco Express shop in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
A police spokesman said: "Entry to the shop had been forced via the front door.
"Shortly afterwards, officers arrested a 28-year-old man following a single vehicle collision in Sandy Lane, Lyndhurst.
"The man, from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He is currently in police custody."
