A man has been arrested by officers investigating a burglary at a business in Lymington.
A till and cash were stolen from the Simply Be hairdressers in Roundhouse Court at around 9.45pm on Monday, September 23.
On Wednesday a 40-year-old man from Lymington was been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He has also been arrested of two counts of making off without payment, and one count of theft from a shop.
He remains in police custody at the time of writing.
Officers are also aware of seven other reports of business burglaries in the High Street area of Lymington since Sunday, September 8.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are looking to see if these incidents are linked.
