DALEKS, dog shows and prize draws are just some of the attractions set to draw the crowds at Minstead Trust’s annual summer fete.
Hundreds of people are expected at the event on Saturday at Minstead Lodge in the north of the New Forest to support the work of learning disability charity Minstead Trust.
The Trust supports around 200 people with learning disabilities to develop skills that allow them to gain greater independence and lead fulfilled lives.
The fete has been running for 20 years and will have the usual range of stalls, including tombola, children's games and crockery smash. There will also be live music and performances from people who are supported by Minstead Trust.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their dog along and enter into the fun dog show. Food is available from the BBQ and tea and cake from the refreshment stall.
There will also be a prize draw, with plenty of prizes to be won including £100 John Lewis vouchers donated by Heppenstalls solicitors and an overnight stay at Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel in Lymington.
