THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cash and items were stolen in a burglary in Totton High Street.

Police say three people broke into MJG Mechanical Services overnight between Sunday, March 3, and the following day.

CCTV images show two people inside the property in hooded clothing and stole 10 laptops, copper piping, trainers, and up to £3,000 cash.

The group is believed to have entered the building just after 9.30pm on Sunday before leaving the scene at 2.28am on Monday.

A Hampshire Police spokeswoman said: "Although facial features cannot be made out in the CCTV images, it is believed one man was wearing a khaki hoody or jacket, one was in a dark top and camouflage tracksuit bottoms or trousers and the other in a black hooded top with Nike Air trainers.
