A MURDER trial is set to begin today following the death of a man in Totton.
Sidney Cooper, 26, and Charlie Cooper, 19, will both stand trial accused of killing Courtney Jones.
The 26-year-old of Deerlands Avenue, Sheffield, died after an incident in Salisbury Road, Totton, on Saturday, August 25.
Mr Jones was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Charlie Cooper, of Ashby Road, Totton, and Sidney Andrew Cooper, of no fixed abode, were both charged with an allegation of murder.
Both men denied the charge at a previous hearing.
The trial, which will take place at Winchester Crown Court, is scheduled to last for three weeks.
