FIRE crews are dealing with a blaze in a diesel tank at the old Fawley power station.
Crews from the Beaulieu, Hardley and St Mary's fire stations were called to the main building shortly before 10am.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire appeared to be out, but crews were still carrying out an inspection.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Most of the power station buildings were closed several years after failing to meet modern environmental standards, but parts of the site are still in use.
There are plans to bulldoze the complex and replace it with 1,500 homes.
