HUNDREDS of people flocked to Totton as a popular pumpkin festival returned.
Sunnyfields Farm opened its doors to the public once again to give residents the chance to pick their own pumpkin from the fields or choose a readily harvested one from the displays and carve it.
Ian Nelson, 50, from Totton, is the owner of Sunnyfields Farm.
He said: "This is our third year and it's getting bigger and bigger. We produce pumpkins and we decided to run a festival. We are expecting 50,000 people this year. People can come here and have a fantastic day out. We don't charge to get in and we don't charge for parking."
Lawrence Diamond, 56, customer advisor, from Hythe, said: "It's the first time I have been here and it's an excellent event. The kids loved it."
The event which started today will run on October 14 and again from October 20 to October 31.
