THREE days of hovercraft racing at a Hampshire sports centre is providing spectators with plenty of thrills and spills.
The Hovercraft Club of Great Britain is hosting the fourth round of the national championships at Gang Warily Recreation Centre in Newlands Road, Blackfield.
Morning practice sessions are followed by a full race programme through the afternoon.
Spectators are able to get up close to the craft and meet the drivers.
Gang Warily, which comprises a large sports field with a small lake, is said to provide an ideal racing venue.
It offers drivers a short but demanding half-mile course with changing levels and fast sections, plus challenging transitions from land to water.
