Alesha Dixon has said she is more relaxed over the birth of her second child.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge said she barely left the house following the arrival of her first daughter Azura, but she now has a different attitude.

Dixon spoke on ITV show Lorraine about welcoming her second child Anaya and the impact it has had on her body.

The singer said shaping underwear is now her “best friend”, and she was more relaxed about the early months of new motherhood.

She said of her baby weight: “I call it my little kangaroo pouch, I sort of tuck it into things and it disguises it.

“Spanx are a girl’s best friend, let’s be honest. It takes a lot of effort, it takes a lot of work, just to get Spanx on.

“When I had Azura I didn’t leave the house for about two months. Here I am, Anaya is two months, and I’m already in America, I’m working and it all feels right and it feels good.

“I don’t know if it’s just the fact that she’s my second and I’m more relaxed but I’m happy, so nothing feels stressful.”

Dixon said “I think mummy’s done” in terms of having more children, but she conceded: “One thing I’ve learned in life is never say never.”

Lorraine airs on weekdays on ITV from 8.30am to 9.25am.
