The Ofsted-registered Outdoor Learning Company will be returning to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens this weekend for another exhilarating outdoor adventure club.

Children will enjoy a day of experiencing a range of challenging and fun activities in the woods and around the gardens, including obstacle courses and foraging exercises.

The event, which is running both days, is suitable for five to 11 year olds, is now open for booking.

THIS weekend, Calshot RNLI volunteers will be setting up their first Bands in the Boatshed.

Join Calshot RNLI Lifeboat Station on Saturday from 3pm to 8pm for live music from local bands, a barbecue, a raffle, and beer tent.

This family-friendly event is free to attend, and all money raised during the event will go to lifeboat station.

The line up is: Calshot Crew Kids' Choir, Amber Haverly, Katie-Ann, Steve Humphrey, Barefoot Soul, and Snake Heart.

LEARN to master chocolate craft at Upton Park Farm this weekend.

In a Chocolate Craft Workshop, you will learn to make chocolates like the professionals.

You’re shown the tricks of the trade with lots of tastings too.

The workshops are suitable for anyone; go on your own or with friends, all are welcome.

Chocolate Craft’s friendly & experienced staff will mentor and guide you through the session.

No experience is necessary, but attendees must be 16 years and over.

HISTORY will come to life this weekend with colourful characters from Fort Nelson's past in a series of special History Live.

Meet costumed characters from the its past and find out what it was like to live and work there.

The fort has played its part in conflicts from Victorian times through to the First and Second World Wars.

This weekend, find out how the outbreak of hostilities in 1939 put Fort Nelson back on a war footing.

IT'S the Longstock Village Fete on Saturday.

Held at the Longstock Recreation Ground, starting at 12.30pm, it will offer something for everyone.

There will be a dog show, Wessex Medieval Alliance, books stall, bottle stall, food stalls, plant stalls, kids quiz, children's games, face painitng, adventure tunnel, bouncy castle, tea and cakes, Pimms bar and barbecue.

Admission is £1 for adults and children over 14 (those under go free).
