G4 star Jonathan Ansell will be headlining a one off concert at The Concorde tonight as the Eastleigh club prepares to go into the second lockdown.

In a socially distanced gig, he will perform his greatest hits, share stories about his career and take part in a Q & A.

Meanwhile the Concorde has posted a message on its website about the latest Government Covid closure, which reads: “So we will have just have to pick ourselves up again....! To say this has been hard news to take would be an understatement. We have tried our hardest to adhere to the rules and provide entertainment four days a week. Thank you for all your patience, support, chair dancing and love to all the team. We will reconvene at the beginning of December with some of the best acts in the country!

“Regarding tickets for November, we will contact you over the next few weeks with what, where and how!

“Deja vu comes to mind. Stay safe and see you in December.”

G4 are a four-piece British vocal troupe who first came to prominence when they finished second in Series 1 of The X Factor in 2004, and are known for their operatic delivery of modern pop songs. Jonathan Ansell is their high tenor.
